Great intro..
This is the second song I've heard sister Dee sing.. and it just gets better..
Don't understandthe words, but that matters none..
It's full of passion and feeling..
What a great pair you towo make together...
Love the guitar around the 2.10 mark.. very clever rhythmically so tight..
Beatuiful.. :)) (Very Happy)

Hinemoana
Music Mouse Keelan Words Denise Keelan
2004

I look to gaze at Hine-moana (the ocean)The ebbing flowing tides, guarded by Moremore(Significant to Ahuriri)I’m just pondering What will become of the well being Of this precious gift of ours? What is the most important thing To us, the people? Who is it for to govern? I grew up by the seashore I learnt to care for it This tradition not to be taken lightly For they are lessons handed down by my forebears,You are the ocean, the ocean is you!!What is the most important thing To us, the people? Who is it for to govern? The challenge is out! and set!!Fixed and steadfast!Alas! The governing body!!Listen up!!What is the most important thingTo us, the people?Who is it for to govern? We ourselves! of this home should govern!!That’s how it was in days gone by,These days, forever more!!!Hine-moana what ever shall the fate be?

Beautiful. Nice arrangment. Dee's vocals are so smooth. Seems like there are some very strong simiarities in the Maori and Hawaiian language (let alone the storytelling). The guitar work is awesome. Well done you two!!

Lovely Song. I like that slightly percussive style of playing you have on the guitar. The breakdown at around 2 mins was awesome. Sister Dee did a great job on the vocals. Playing Guitar

This is very pretty. The vocals are beautiful even though I don't know what she's saying. Guitar is equally as beautiful. A very talented family! Groovin
